Meditation: Going Forward

I’ve talked about how meditation works and even some ways that we can meditate. I’ve also explained some ways that it can help to enhance other thoughts within your mind and some of its uses. This article is more or less just a little bit more knowledge for meditation as we go through other articles.

There is so much more to meditation than I’ve listed, but there are other resources that can help you find the knowledge you are seeking. Just look through Google and you’ll find countless sites that can describe meditation in more detail. Spirituality: Who YOU Are, Underneath it All

This one is going to be a bit different. Usually, I’m trying to define something as either what it is, or isn’t. This week, that’s definitely not going to be the case. Because of how broad spirituality is, it is very difficult to know where to go for all the answers. It’s difficult to find even a few answers, especially when it raises even more questions.

Well, get ready to play 20 questions with yourself. No, I don’t mean in a joking manner either. You’re going to be learning about yourself in a way that will not be easy, but will hopefully help you understand yourself in a greater light. This one is definitely not going to be easy, but it will be rewarding, even if the benefits don’t reveal themselves when you’re done.

I cannot say with more certainty that this is going to be one of those, “There’s no such thing as good or bad, but this will be something that will test every aspect of yourself” moments. In other words, I would want everyone reading this to go forward in this experience with the hopes of learning something about yourself. It could be good in your eyes, or bad, but this is a chance for spiritual growth, and I hope you all can view this as such.

Meditation: Raising Vibrations

Vibrations. Most people see these in terms of sound. A sound vibrates through the air, colliding with oxygen and other molecules. However, there’s more to it than that. There are light vibrations, color vibrations, energy vibrations, and many others.

I’m going to talk about energy vibrations, and what meditation can do to them. Keep in mind, this is not going to be based on scientific research, so please keep all science-strict thoughts in check, and I can probably show you a different outlook on things! Spirituality and Religion: Separate but Equal?

So, this is going to be an interesting one. Then again, I always think they’re interesting ones, so…hopefully you might agree. This morning, we’re talking about the divide between spirituality and religion. This is going to be very detailed, and there’s a fine line between the two, so I’ll try my best to provide my thoughts on what makes them different.

Before anyone starts screaming “These are the same thing!” I want to point out that I’ve had experiences with both religion and spirituality, so I can kinda compare them. I’ll go into all the juicy details after the jump, so just follow me in!

Mobile Update

Status

Apparently the mobile site was having issues. After further investigation, the mobile theme wasn’t enabled. This has been changed. If anyone has issues with the mobile site, please let me know. Thanks!

EDIT: I’ve tried getting it to where it would show the same colors as the main site, but there’s no option for it that I can find, so it looks like it’s stuck as-is. Sorry!

EDIT 2: After even more investigation, the theme was actually supposed to look the way it did on mobile. The real issue is that I don’t have a logo so it looks slightly odd to only see text. So…I guess I’ll have to work on that eventually. In the meantime, I’ll leave the theme up that makes it look nicer, even though it doesn’t really match.

Meditation and Crystals

For anyone who doesn’t know, I love crystals. I love crystals a lot. I have my own small collection that I set on part of my desk, with another part of it on a small marble stand. Needless to say, I love having crystals.

However, what might confuse you is if I said that crystals help with meditation. What could confuse you more is if I said that crystals are actually living, just in a different way from what science perceives as living.

Becoming Spiritual: Changing your Viewpoint

So, you wish to become spiritual, but you don’t entirely know how to go about it? Fear not, as we’ll be discussing this today. Though, this isn’t for the faint of heart, but it can be the bridge between the reality and the unconditional happiness you are seeking.

A bit of a warning before we proceed: While this can hopefully help you see happiness everywhere, it doesn’t immediately mean that you’ll never be unhappy again. This isn’t a lesson on blissful ignorance, or anything of the sort. This is about how to see the brighter things in life, and how to make things that should matter to you become a guiding force in your life. The biggest thing to remember, even if you read nothing else in this post, is that your thoughts matter a lot more than you realize. If you think positive, you truly can change your perspective at its core.

Meditation – How To

Meditation is a very empowering experience for many people. At first, it seems so complex, but when you actually do it, and realize it was actually not that hard at all, it brings a whole new feeling to many things. It’s a truly beautiful experience.

This week, we’re looking into the different kinds of meditation and how to perform each of them. This list is nowhere near exhaustive, and the individual steps to each may vary depending on personal preference, so please keep that in mind as you read. Think of this more as a basic, “This is how you can do these things,” rather than “Follow these steps to the letter!”
